THE BABYBE SYSTEM
The Babybe system consists on 3 components: The Bionic mattress where the preterm baby lies on, the Mother module or Turtle that picks the heartbeat and breathing motion and a Control module that takes the wireless signal from the turtle and uses it to control the inflation and sound of the mattress.
Along with the hardware components, we developed a mobile app that allows the family to collect moments with the Apple watch (voice messages and heartbeat recording) and send them to the baby at the hospital. Helping the family stay connected regardless of distance or physical limitations.
Babybe was developed in close collaboration with medical staff, industry partners and users.
We developed, tested and launch 2 versions of the product (MK1 and MK2) along with a Mobile application.
